A Short Biblical Message

Message for the Month Scripture reading Psalm (31:1) Topic: Trust in the Lord The bulk of our unhappiness, anxiety, and fear would be greatly abridged if we grasped the significance of these four words: Trust in the Lord. And how should we trust in the Lord: 1. We are to trust in the Lord with all our Hearts: (Prov. 3:5-6) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. History lets us know that when Israel's forefathers trusted God they were rescued from danger. David challenged Solomon to serve God with whole-heated devotion. (1Ch.28:9) 2. We should trust in the Lord and do Good (Ps. 37:3) Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. We all need to be instructed in the fear of the Lord. Because He is good and those of us who trust Him will lack nothing good. 3. We are to trust in the Lord forever (Is. 26:4) Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength. God is unfailing in His strength He is liken a fortress and a refuge where all can go in times of despair. And we don't have to lose all hope or confidence, the Psalmist expresses God as a rock to show His strength and deliverance. Conclusion: "Whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he {they} (Prov.16:20) for the bible teaches us that when we do these we are righteous, and he who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he {they}.
